Who is responsible
WaggoHQ operates WaggoHQ. Our data protection contact is privacy@waggohq.com.
What we collect and why
We process account and contact details, pet profiles, optional pet photos and care notes, booking addresses and appointment history, provider business details, concierge messages, reviews, support records, and security logs. We use them to authenticate users, prepare guardian-reviewed pet profiles, match guardians with providers, fulfil and support bookings, process payments and refunds, prevent abuse, maintain records, and improve service reliability.
Service providers and transfers
We use contracted providers for authentication (Clerk), hosting (Vercel), database infrastructure (Neon), private object storage (Cloudflare R2), payments and provider payouts (Stripe), and concierge text and image processing. An optional pet photo is shared with our configured image processor through a short-lived private link solely to prepare a profile draft. These providers may process data outside Singapore under their contractual safeguards. Card details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by WaggoHQ.
Retention and security
We retain information only while it serves the booking, account, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting, or other legal purpose for which it is needed. Unconfirmed pet-photo uploads expire automatically; removing a pet deletes its stored photo while archiving only the profile record needed for booking history. We use private storage, short-lived links, access controls, encrypted transport, scoped authentication, audit-friendly booking timelines, and trusted payment pages; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent where applicable, close your account, or raise a privacy complaint by contacting our data protection contact. We will explain any information we must retain for legal or active contractual purposes.
Children and sensitive pet notes
WaggoHQ is not intended for people under 18. Do not include unnecessary human medical, identity, or payment information in pet notes or concierge messages.
